Sen Lin is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Interbeing Lab, advised by Qiuyu Lu. He is passionate about the application of smart materials and soft actuators in environmental interaction, dedicated to developing novel material systems that respond to ambient humidity with controllable deformation and motion, as well as bioinspired functional devices. He believes that future smart materials should not remain at the laboratory sample stage, but should be integrated into realworld applications such as soft robotics, flexible electronics, and adaptive systems through rational material design and structural innovation, enabling intelligent coupling between materials and their environments. He received his Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering from Jilin University in 2026, his M.S. in Machinery from Changchun University of Science and Technology, and his B.S. in Biotechnology from Weifang University. He has participated in multiple interdisciplinary research projects and gained extensive experience in stimuli-responsive material fabrication, soft actuator structural design, and bioinspired manufacturing.
