Wenjing Deng is a Ph.D. candidate in Design at Tsinghua University. Her research explores how intelligent systems can support sustainable everyday practices. She aims to help people better understand, care for, and reimagine everyday objects and environments. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she earned a B.Eng. in Automation and a B.F.A. in Product Design at Tsinghua University. She then received an M.A. in Design Products from the Royal College of Art.
